The sky is the limit when a group of individuals come together with a shared vision of success and creative expression. In the case of Dayton, Ohio’s KATIUS, five friends have dedicated themselves to bringing their rich vocal harmonies, melodic guitar riffs, and irresistible hooks to the rest of the world.

Formed in early 2005, KATIUS combines influences such as Blink-182, Lostprophets, New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day with their own distinctive musical approach to create a sound that is raw but refined, loud but subtle, and unique yet familiar.

Their first two studio recordings, “Don’t Give ‘Em The Stick!” and “The Getaway" put them on the map, and their third as-yet-untitled recording due to be released in early 2009 will likely catapult them into the national spotlight.. They’ve already had a taste, as their energetic live shows have landed them primo opening slots for bands such as Colbie Caillat, Red, Dead Poetic, Showbread, Sullivan, Run Kid Run, The Wedding, Last Tuesday, The Scenic, Brighten and many others.
