Originally born in Berkeley, CA and raised in Oakland, Tequila spent 3 years of her life in Milwaukee, WI where she learned how to rap. She was raised in the church (37th street Baptist church) where her father was the pastor and she sang in the church choir. There she hosted her own Christian kids talk show. Entertainment has always been a passion for Tequila.

She has been on tour with Too Short, Pit Bull, Tech9ne and Turf Talk, has appeared on a number of radio station interviews, TV shows, and was nominated Bay Area female artist of the year in 2006.
