Hip Hop has been every moment of my life for longer than I can remember. Born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised there until the age of fourteen. I was brought to the hood of south central Los Angeles a few months before the Rodney King riots. At the time Ice Cube had it locked and I wouldn’t turn my radio off. But I did not get involved until high school, free styling busting and taking respect, shortly after graduating to the local hip hop clubs and open mic life, project blow ,the good life, the dragons den etc. It has been a part of my life as far back as Dana Dane’s song Nightmares, Ice T’s 6 in the morning and the power album, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, KRS, Special Ed, Run DMC, Rakim, Guru, you know. And those are my guides and goals when I do music, to do something new, something that’s never been done before. Some music will be remembered forever, that’s the goal and destination of all of my records. To be timeless is priceless. Prowler Entertainment is a part of me, being one of the Pioneer’s and an artist is a great opportunity. Like Jay-Z to play both positions artist and part owner. To take hip hop back is a cliché,’ most new artists don’t understand. The successful rappers of the old school do not want their sound to return to the top of hip hop and surface. I understand this, that the important thing to do is create and never try to retrace. I feel my career will change hip hop significantly, enough to take the bling from the chain and add them to the reign.
